We realize that not everyone wants to go to a speed-dating event in Manhattan.  It's not just about convenience to the bar, (or convenience of visiting the person you're dating!), but it's sometimes just nice to meet people who feel the same way about living outside Manhattan as you do. 

In the case of Brooklyn (and we live in Brooklyn, so we're a little biased) there is a great community feel, and a relaxed an unpretentious atmosphere in bars and restaurants.  So when Ellis Bar contacted us to say they would be interested in running and event, we were very interested.

We've scheduled the event for October 10 - it's in the South Slope part of Brooklyn at 5th Avenue and 17th-18th St.  If you're a local single, we hope you'll be able to come by.
