When friends and acquaintances find out that I host speed-dating, I'm usually bombarded with questions, and one of the most common is: What sorts of people attend speed-dating events?  The answer I emphatically and repeatedly give is: All kinds!  I'm constantly amazed at the diversity of experience and life stories that you find at any of our typical speed-dating events.  We have folks at many different stages of life, education, career, and family, which makes me feel comfortable telling anyone interested in speed-dating that chances are excellent you'll find someone who piques your curiosity.  I think this is bound to happen with speed-dating in general, and particularly in a city as exciting and compelling as New York. 

Of course, it helps to narrow down the scope of who you’ll meet by choosing one of our events with a specific theme and age range (eg: if you’re particularly looking to meet men between 25 and 35 who like to travel, or if you’re looking for a woman in her 30s who considers herself artistic) but no matter what event you choose, I believe you’re bound to be impressed with the variety of dates to choose from.  It’s why I highly recommend trying out speed-dating, at least once, to all my single friends and acquaintances – you just never know who you’ll meet!
