On October 11th, we're having our annual speed-dating event to raise money for charity. All registration fees will be donated to the Robin Hood Foundation, an organization that combats poverty in NYC.

We realize that not everyone wants to go to a speed-dating event in Manhattan. It's not just about convenience to the bar, (or convenience of visiting the person you're dating!), but it's sometimes just nice to meet people who feel the same way about living outside Manhattan as you do. In the case of Brooklyn (and we live in Brooklyn, so we're a little biased) there is a great community feel, and a relaxed an unpretentious atmosphere in bars and restaurants. So when Ellis Bar contacted us ... [Read full post]
