I have always found speed-dating a fascinating concept from the very beginning. We had a fun host competition across July and August. At the end of every speed-dating event, customers are invited to rate (out of 5) the event, the venue, the host and their dates. The host with the best average score at the end of two months would win $200.We'd just like to announce that Beth was the winner with an average of 4.5 out of 5 from 250 rankings. Every day we get emails from customers requesting that we run a speed-dating event with a theme that fits with their interests, lifestyle or ethnic background. One would think that the interest in speed-dating from month to month would be fairly constant, but there are actually large fluctuations. And they are quite consistent from year to year.Some of them we understand - we know that January and February are busy months because people feel like making a fresh start in the New Year, and of course Valentine's Day puts unfair pressure on all of us.
