Information on upcoming and past speed-dating events Posted by Daniel B. on 8-29-2009
We are frequently asked if there will be an even number of men and women at our speed-dating events. Or we're asked how we can possibly ensure that the event will be nicely balanced between men and women.Well, it's not easy, but we're good at it. We know that one of the most important things to a customer is that there are an equal number of men and women. Or perhaps more accurately, attendees would like at least the same number of the opposite gender, but they are OK if there are more!Eve ... [Read full post]

We're thinking of running more activity-based singles events, and we'd love your feedback.Back in February, we took a group of 40 singles up to hunter mountain to ski. This was directly driven from our state of mind at the time - two overworked single professionals, one banker and one lawyer, slightly bitter about the long hours, and both burned from personal experience in the "fear of dating at work" department. ... How did it take us so long to work out that both men and women want to come to the "Women Dating Younger Men" events? We've just run our first one on June 10, and we're going to be scheduling a lot more. The feedback we're getting from women is that they love that they have an event "where the men will have the energy to keep up with us!". And from men, we're hearing that they like the maturity that comes with women slightly older, and significantly less game-playing.We've seen that ... [Read full post]
