On October 11th, we're having our annual speed-dating event to raise money for charity. All registration fees will be donated to the Robin Hood Foundation, an organization that combats poverty in NYC.

As well as speed-dating for a good cause, this is a great opportunity to meet other philanthropically-minded NYC singles who either work in not-for-profit professions, or who give time or money to help others

Every day we get emails from customers requesting that we run a speed-dating event with a theme that fits with their interests, lifestyle or ethnic background. We're thinking of running more activity-based singles events, and we'd love your feedback.Back in February, we took a group of 40 singles up to hunter mountain to ski. The beginners were in one group, and the intermediate skiiers had their "dates" n their 7 minute lift ride up the mountain.We want to offer fun singles trips to our NYC speed daters. How did it take us so long to work out that both men and women want to come to the "Women Dating Younger Men" events? We've just run our first one on June 10, and we're going to be scheduling a lot more. The feedback we're getting from women is that they love that they have an event "where the men will have the energy to keep up with us!".
