If you're looking for a truly unique and energetic evening, then this is is a speed-dating event you won't want to miss.  In one short evening, you'll have 50 first dates of two minutes each. 

Although it sounds like overkill, it really a very sensible strategy for quickly finding a selection of people you feel a connection with.  We know that studies show that 7-10 seconds is ample time to decide if you like someone, and we also know it's tough to find the right people to date.  For that reason, it makes perfect sense to meet as many people as possible in a short space of time - it maximizes your chances. 

This format has become very popular, which is just confirmation of what we already know; New Yorkers like to have lots of options.  And so many men and women are dating this way that you're chances of meeting the same person at two different events are very slim.  It's simply the best way of finding quality people to date.

So you know what to expect, here is a little bit about how the evening will run.  You'll arrive 10-15 minutes before the dating rounds start, to get registered and grab a drink.  The hosts will tell you which table you'll be starting at, and whether you'll be staying put or whether you'll be rotating each round.  If you meet someone you like, then make sure you take a second to write down their name, and (from experience we always recommend this) maybe include a star if you really like them.  When you come to make you selections later, you'll be happy that you have some system of prioritizing, and many people meet a LOT of people they'd like to meet again!

Everybody attending gets a free drink and you'll get a break after 25 dates to recover and prepare for the second half. 

Aside from the numerous opportunities you'll have to find attractive people to date, this will also just be a fun, flirty and highly unusual evening!
